Emerging Technologies Strand

 

The CTEC CAPS Emerging Technologies program provides students, who are interested in preparing for a career in emerging technologies, access to advanced coursework, software skills, leadership experience and career exposure.

Our curriculum will provide foundational skills for many careers in the areas of robotics, manufacturing, engineering, and programming such as:  robotics engineer, web/software developer, cybersecurity specialist or info security consultant, support engineer, product manager, all facets of engineering, manufacturing production/process development engineer, manufacturing quality assurance, manufacturing logistics and inventory control, manufacturing safety and environmental assurance, manufacturing maintenance/installation/repair, and many more. 

Our professional makerspace, manufacturing lab, computer science lab, software and equipment are excellent tools to gain valuable experience in the emerging technologies fields.
